Masterclass

The masterclass “NETWORKS goes to school” is a yearly event organized by the research program NETWORKS. This event is intended for secondary education students and teachers who want to broaden their scientific horizons by having a glimpse into state of the art mathematical research. The topics we treat in the masterclass are chosen from two big research themes within modern mathematics, namely networks science and algorithms.

    The NETWORKS research program organized a two-day masterclass on the mathematics behind networks and algorithms. The topics: 1. Neural networks and the Kuramoto model 2. Networks in biology. 3. Markov Chains. 4. Social Networks.
